Friction without purpose is torture

I heard this line in a recent interview between Trevor Noah and Esther Perel, and I resonated so deeply with it. Purpose DOES transform struggle.
Without it, the setbacks, the problem-solving, and the slow days feel pointless. But with it, I truly feel that friction becomes fuel.
Esther added: "Purpose is the essential dimension of meaning."
I see it in the eyes of every petrol attendant who finally feels recognised. In every small business owner, we've helped connect to safer, digital income and every community where dignity and financial inclusion are no longer out of reach.
We're building meaning into moments that used to be invisible.
We are, as Esther puts it, creatures of meaning. We need to know we matter.
And in the world we're trying to shape, everyone deserves to feel that.
