As South Africa moves faster towards a cashless economy, too many are being left behind.
We designed tipped to serve them first.
What started with 18 car guards has grown into a nationwide movement:
✔️R30 is now the average digital tip.
✔️Income for some workers has grown by nearly 40%.
✔️tipped is used in salons, hotels, forecourts, and informal markets.
Beyond tipping, our platform now drives powerful data insights, allowing individuals to track spending patterns, tipping behaviours, and service performance.
These insights create real economic value, not just for workers but for the businesses that support them.
We're proud to be part of a growing movement toward inclusive, people-first fintech - and we're just getting started.
